About Dawn

 

Dawn Bozicevich, APRN, AGNP-C earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from St. Catherine University. She is certified as an Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in adult gerontology with a focus on cardiovascular health. Her clinical interests include coronary artery disease, heart failure, and preventive cardiology.

 

Dawn holds a Heart Failure Provider Certificate from the Heart Failure Society of America and is also certified as a Heart Failure Nurse by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, demonstrating advanced expertise in heart failure assessment, treatment, and management. Prior to coming to PCC, she worked extensively with patients experiencing advanced heart failure. After working with advanced heart failure patients, she realized that prevention is key to a long and healthy life, which inspired her passion for preventive cardiology. She has dedicated her entire career to cardiology.

 

Dawn believes in partnering with patients to empower them through education, lifestyle changes, and evidence-based care, helping them take an active role in their heart health. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, cheering on the Gophers at football games, and listening to music.
